| A Scrap of Love is Just Enough |
If you have a few scraps of love that you would like to share with someone special, contact us for
additional information at 727-560-0374 or by email at info@nbtweenht.com. If you’re already feeling
the creative spirit, follow the simple steps below and complete the order form to place your order:
- Complete and sign your contract providing complete contact information.
- The primary contact is in charge of gathering all the items to be sent, (limited to one item from
each if there are more than 3 participants). Here are a few more suggestions to get you started,
snippets from a hem or seam if you don’t want to dismantle an entire garment, button, snap,
button hole, tie, handkerchief, trim or lace, label, a bit from a piece of jewelry (no more than 1/2 “
in size; no precious stones or metals), a curtain or even a pillow case. Most of our clients usually
have no difficulty deciding what to use and I’m sure you won’t either. - Label each scrap with the name of the person who provided it. If you have something small like
a snap or button, you can just tape it to a piece of paper and write your name on that. - Each participant then provides a brief line dedicated to the recipient. This will be included in the
Scrapps of Thought booklet that accompanies your doll. - After we receive your signed contract and all of your scraps we take it from there taking pieces
from each donation and include them in your Scrappington© doll’s dress.
Nearly everyone has a garment of some kind that they keep tucked away simply because of its
sentimental value. Why not take a scrap of that cherished item and share it with a friend or loved one
by transforming it into a one of a kind expression of your love.
In August 2007 we began designing our Scrappington ScrappLine© dolls so that collectors, or
anyone for that matter, could play a small role in creating their very own Scrappington© doll. Our
clients who order the doll get to share in the surprise when it is delivered. One client said, "when we
received the doll it was a lot of fun discovering where our scraps were used on the dress. Giving a gift
like this really makes you feel like you've done something special". Sisters and brothers have
ordered for their mother (we’ve even made them for a few dads), another group of siblings created
one for their grandmother by sending nothing but buttons from garments that held special meaning
from various periods in their lives. One group even came up with the idea to create one for their
church mother so that her Scrappington could keep her company when they weren't around. But
